Gary K. Norgaard’s areas of expertise include Bankruptcy and Debtor Creditor Law. He is the senior member in charge of the Firm’s insolvency practice and the managing member in charge of the Firm’s Englewood Office. Mr. Norgaard is the author of numerous articles respecting creditor’s rights, i.e. Pro Bono Representation and the code: Navigating the new Due Diligence Requirements, N.J. Bar Association; and The New Bankruptcy Code, I.C.L.E. During his thirty years of distinguished service, he has received countless pro bono awards, including being honored as the first recipient of the N.J. Bar Association Pro Bono Award. Mr. Norgaard has been named Court Appointed Receiver, Special Discovery Master, and Special Mediator by the Chancery Divisions of Bergen, Hudson, and Union Counties, as well as the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. He is proud to be the founder of the New Jersey Bankruptcy Lawyers Foundation. Mr. Norgaard has been the Chairman of the Debtor Creditor Section of the Bergen County Bar Association for more than ten years, and is an Adjunct Professor at the Seton Hall School of Law, teaching Business, Consumer and Advanced Bankruptcy.
