Foreclosure -- We strive to reduce delays in processing a foreclosure in order to minimize the creditor’s cost and maximize the creditor’s return on distressed assets.
Foreclosure
Our foreclosure practice represents both national and local mortgage lenders and financial institutions throughout the state of New Jersey. The Firm’s competency in prosecuting foreclosures and handling creditor’s rights is well recognized in the field. We are proud to have participated in discussions with the Bench and the Administrative Office of the Courts, regarding the enactment of new rules applicable to the foreclosure process in the State of New Jersey, and to have been the first New Jersey law firm to be selected by the Federal National Mortgage Association (FANNIE MAE) for its loss mitigation program.
Our experienced attorneys and staff recognize that during these challenging economic times the foreclosure process can be long and frustrating for creditors. Utilizing all available resources we strive to reduce delays in processing a foreclosure in order to minimize the creditor’s cost and maximize the creditor’s return on distressed assets. Our newly created Loss Mitigation/Loan Modification Department endeavors to identify and when appropriate advocate loss mitigation initiatives, such as deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure, short sales, and rent receiverships with the goal of minimizing some of the costly and negative aspects of the mortgage foreclosure process.
In addition to handling straightforward foreclosure actions for both commercial and residential properties, our Firm also represents clients in contested litigation, bankruptcy proceedings, mortgagor and tenant evictions, and the correction of defects that would impair the transfer of title at foreclosure or REO sale.
Our understanding of the pressure and time constraints that its clients face combined with its dedication to technological excellence allows for the Firm to provide superior and timely legal representation. The Firm is a member of Lenstar, BPI, LINCS, NewTrak, NewInvoice, Iclear, Quandis, Vendorscape, REOtrans, DARES, Symphony, and Clarifire.
